to clean the yard and get it ready for a weekend of construction

How do you feel when you can’t tick off everything on your to-do list?
not as bad as i used to! for real! i used to stay up until my whole list was done. even if that was a couple of days. but now … i just leave it on the list for tomorrow! even if it’s dishes to do and they are sitting in the sink! i just let them sit there! overnight even!
i never used to be able to do that! it has taken years and a lot of work. weird hey … usually people are the other way, i think. usually they have to learn to get the list done. to focus. and pay attention. and really do it. like the discipline to get the stuff done before playing video games, or whatever. not me. i have to work on it the other way. all work and no play is a hard lesson … i need *some* play.
balance is important.
sometimes it still bothers me and i will go back down to get stuff done but … for the most part, i am lately ok with it if things just wait for another day!
Email or a phone call
if you actually want a timely response … definitely a phone call!
The last time you wrote a thought on gratitude.
Well, I’m not really sure. I write about gratitude often. Maybe not often enough lately. I used to write about gratitude every single day. it has been a while lately, I guess
I will be mroe mindful and be sure to put my thanks down more often.
I have a special book I am writing to Lillian about why she is awesome.
And I want to do one for Hunter as well.
I have been writing a lot of letters to the government lately.
I should refocus. I am glad this prompt has reminded me.
What’s your Super Power?
um … perseverance.
i just … keep … going. no matter what.
it is a skill set that i didn’t know i even had until i was using it every day. and once i realized what it was, i recognized that it is, indeed, a Super Power.
i live things, multiple things, in a day – that would flatten many other humans. and yet … i just … keep … going. like nothing were even effecting me at all.
it’s an interesting thing to recognize. like not knowing your own strength until you break something.
#MorningThoughts
Do you sleep more or fewer hours on the weekends?
um … it depends on the weekend honestly. some more, some less.
i sleep less in the summer. and more in the winter. when the sun is up in the morning, so am i … but if it’s dark later into the day, i sleep more!
Do you procrastinate on a regular basis?
no.
i do today what could have been on tomorrow’s to do list, so that tomorrow is a freer schedule to do even MORE!
for realsies!
Name one of your skills you’d like to teach others.
… to manage my household so i could take a vacation …
but that would take LOTS of skills. that’s the problem.
How hard/easy is it for you to express your feelings?
usually … it is pretty easy for me.
i just curse.
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
shut off the alarm.
usually.
Even if it didn’t go off yet, i still reach over to deactivate it for the day.
i don’t like waking up to the harsh buzzing of a traditional alarm clock so i have a little tune set on my cell phone. i usually wake up before it goes off. so i actually shut it off anyway. then pee. of course. maybe i am the only one who seems to drink all the liquids in my whole life just before bed … but … i do. and it means i have to pee first thing every day 🙂
