happiness is the laundry being done.

happiness is the counters clean, the dishes away, and still having plenty of patience and energy to play a game with my kids.

happiness is a full refrigerator. and something already our for supper!

happiness is sleeping in on a Saturday morning, then spending the entire day baking treats and snacks for the week.

happiness is a good yield from all the plants in the backyard garden.

happiness is snuggling up with my son to watch a movie and having him fall asleep in my arms.

happiness is in everything.

i feel like every decision i make is important. that’s part of the bag when you’re a mom. it’s like everything you pick, every day, leads to the next set of choices. and if you don’t make these ones right then the next ones will be harder.

that’s what it feels like to me, anyway.

i don’t know if i have one.

but if i had to have one, i would steal it from the bible.

um … lemme google what that even means

i still am unclear even after googling so … probably not.

i keep trying to feel positive, honestly. but i feel overwhelmed a lot of the time.

i feel … like i’m barely treading water.

home is where my family is.

where my dad is.

where my children are.

that’s my home.

i heard we might be able to have friends/family over by christmas.

isn’t it sad, that that is good news.

it’s actually impossible.

for me.

i find it fully impossible to forgive myself.
